half way there

I had highlights put into my hair a few weeks ago and it looks great. The blondy highlights hide the white hairs I have and eventually I will go completely blond when the dark hair dye is gone.

Apparently, if I had dyed my whole head blond that day, my hair could have turned out to be an orange color which is not what I want.

Point is....us women folk and the men folk who dye their hair, sure go through a bunch of crap to look good now don`t we?

That`s me, in a cap, at the hairdressers, looking like a doofus, all in the name of vanity.

Sheesh.

The biggest decision is when to stop colouring the grey?

My Mum's hair is now a lovely white yet I remember her having the same colour as me. I don't recall how she handled the transition.

  That is true. I have patches of white throughout my head and would gladly go white it my hair would cooperate and go white all over. xx

I have grey strands in my hair..and Im only 32!! I said last year that I was going to stop dying it and just let it go grey..and then I found a few more and that was it..Off to the hair dressers

If only my wrinkles were so easy to hide!! xx

I got blonde highlights back in July and will have to get it done again soon as well as a bit of a snip - so darned expensive though!

  It can get pricey when we get the highlights. My hair is very short and the highlights won't last long. x

  I would think you would look great in any color. I only know you in the darker color and that suited you. x

        I couldn't have come this far without my friends here. I started in February 2007 with no blogfriends and 50 poems. I now have 264 poems and 68 blogfriends.

Mine is easy to deal with i just use a wash in colour like nice and easy and mine is pale blonde in harf and hour.xx

I think highlights and lowlights are the way to go. I quite like the grey intermingling with everything else. One colour would be a lot easier though.

  Some hair dyes are be tricky and seem to wash out quickly.
