When ever I buy a new doodad or need to learn something new such as a software program, a new video game or maybe even a shiny new appliance *woohoooo* I rarely look at the How-To manual that accompanies it as I figure that playing around and moving through the task or game provides more of an opportunity to learn than reading the manual.

Mostly I am right.

But there is the odd occasion when the manual does come in handy for a quick reference and rather than wandering around in circles, common sense knocks at my door and I decide that I best get my butt in gear and look at the bleeding thing.

Pfft!

I find some manuals difficult to read and understand if you know what I mean. Errr, you do know what I mean don't you?
